I admit. Prior to learning about SEO software and site optimization field, I considered that Google was cool. I Used Google to look for everything from human beings, to pictures, to news stories to weird objects and heedlessly trusted the results. Then I found out about SEO programs and a new field dedicated to website marketing, and my beliefs were never the same. But even before my discovery, after doing some philosophical analysis, I got a feeling that search engines, Google included, know far from all, and pass on to the users a tiny portion of that.

My search travails soon persuaded me that Flikr is a better image data bank, that with the assistance of RSS I can get quality news stories without having to rummage through Google search findings (rummaging seems more fitting than Google search), and people search is better handled by Facebook. It seems that every time I look for strange things on Google, the results are often inaccurate, to put it kindly. Try Googling for SEO products and other SEO connected subjects on Google and you are just about prepared to give up your sanity. I mean, tell me, what’s the connection between SEO products and employment sites or online casinos? Gladly, in my disappointment.

So when news of seo software review and the whole field built around it came into my humble worldview, my suspicions about websites appearing on page one of Google grew virally. Do they merit to show up on there and who is to blame, Google or webmasters using SEO programs. The ethical quandary is immense. Do I quit using my SEO google ranking or do I seize using Google instead? I decided that I can’t boycott Google just yet. At least not until the decent competitor enters the picture. For now I will keep juggling between Blekko, Google and the above methods to complement the SERP mess that Google is. And, oh,yes, I will keep using my SEO applications.

Truth is that SEO products is the reason why guys like me get discovered on the net. smart as they are, Google web crawlers are not likely to find some average dude and index his domain well. In this respect, I remain an unyielding fan of SEO tools and organic search. If it was all about the paid search, the Fortune entities would squish me before I knew it. And there are hundreds of companies on the Fortune list! But here is something else that irritates me and other backlinks checker users, I am confident. There are guys who invest in SEO software products and use them to sell dresseson online education sites and such. What we have is junk that not only exists on the web but is also well valued by search engines.

What is the user reaction to this? They search for SEO program reviews and will instead find unrelated SERPs. They get disappointed. So much for the “Internet equality”. Does this indicate that SEO program and service industry is bad? Probably not.

The abusers of SEO apps have to stop brutalizing the Net but it’s like asking hackers to stop cracking the code. The sad side about it is that black hat SEOs are abusing the chance to be visible on the Web that is available to the little person like myself. For now we just have to tolerate them. One can only wish that Google will put more emphasis on catching the schemers unethically using SEO tools, and if Google doesn’t, the future search engine will.
